About Dr. Tsai

Albert Mu-Hong Tsai, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. As a key member of Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group in Long Beach, California, Dr. Tsai is committed to providing the Long Beach community with the best in orthopaedic care.

Dr. Tsai attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in biochemistry. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tsai attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Tsai began his career at the University of California in San Diego where he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then went on to receive additional training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the University of California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Tsai maintains interest in the latest medical advances as a member of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons where he serves as a diplomate. In addition to Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group, Dr. Tsai is affiliated with the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Surgery Center of Long Beach, and Miller Children's Hospital.
