Curtis W. Spencer III, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, and one of the founding partners at Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group in Long Beach, California. As a member of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society, Dr. Spencer continues to pursue the most advanced treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Spencer completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He then enrolled at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, before returning to his native Southern California.
As a general orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Spencer treats a number of orthopaedic conditions and specializes in knee injuries, spine surgery, and total hip replacement. For patients requiring operations, Dr. Spencer is affiliated with Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and the Surgery Center of Long Beach.
Outside of the office, Dr. Spencer spends much of his time skiing and sailing. He is also a member of the California Orthopaedic Association.
